ReplyDeleteI am loving following your odessey, I can use that word as I have read the Odessey and have a swanky certificate from the U of Chicago to prove it! You both look so well and relaxed I was chatting to Dad and he told me that he told you not to come back if anything happens to him!!! I told him that that would not happen and if it did I have suggested that we all get a portion of his ashes to dispense of where ever we want to. He also said that we could sprinkle them anywhere as he would not know where they were as he would not be here, and if in doubt Vicky and David are under some Geraniums in the garden.... but he does not want to be with Mum as that is Lancashire.... but I told he would not know anyway. So I think it is good to have all those things sorted. Girls back to school next week, thank God, have not seen Rickie who is in Colorado, have decided to call him Magpie because he obviously likes shiny things, yes I saw a photo of " the bike"!!!.
Well lots of love to you both, Take care.

Hey Nic and Jon
ReplyDeleteJules et Philippe ici. Gorgeous weather here - especially if you're a dehydrated frog. Jules has now produced 122lbs of chutney and jam using all of central America's sugar supply (we've both also bought Tate and Lyle shares!). The purpose of this is two fold - firstly, it secures enough supplies that there will be some left on your return. Secondly we both looked at cryogenics and decided it was too expensive a way of preserving ourselves - so by eating 121lbs of chutney (that's 1 lb for you, we are expecting to pickle our bodies and faces forever. This way, whatever happens to us whilst you're away (ageing, bad bike crashes, drowning on our own vomit) - you'll be able to come home and see us both the way we are now. Genius eh! Your trip looks great and we miss you. So we're going to the Pyrenees in September. Makes sense, non! love J n P (like Ben and Jerry's but we don't melt!)
