We have arrived in Holland! Fantastic weather and great riding down the sand dunes towards leiden.
Ferry was fun but too tired to enjoy so went to bed early.
p.s. if you want to cycle to Newcastle go on the Hadrians cycleway! super riding on old railway lines and along the tyne.

Subscribers to Nicandjon's blog will be relieved to know that Nicandjon have entered Holland [see photo evidence above]. Their incoming boat was spotted earlier [see above] by a cyclist (me) heading north through Sandvoort at oh nine-hundred hours this morning, and they disembarked at Ijmuijden one hundred hours later, at ten-hundred hours. Subscribers will be pleased to note that they then cycled south along the North Sea Coast cycle path, LF1, to Noordwijk, and hence to Leiden [see above]. Subscribers will be pleased to note that, added to the 118 km from Morland to Newcastle, this makes a grand total of 175 km done on the tour to date. Subscribers will be pleased to note that I have quizzed Nicandjon, on behalf of other subscribers, as to the plans for their onward journey. Subscribers will be less pleased to note that their plans remain, well, vague.
